Gherghisiaa

The region of “al_bosayre” is about 104 kilometers away 

from Deir ez-Zor and is close to the common borders of

Iraq and Syria, and is most likely the same area in the narrations of the Ahl al-Bayt (as)

The Battle of Gherghisiya will take place in the present-day Deir ez-Zor region, specifically at the mouth of the Khabur River and at the confluence of the Euphrates River. The source of the Khabur River is in Turkey, and after flowing into the country, it enters Syria and flows into the Euphrates River, which today is called “Basira”, which is a small village, but throughout history the name of this region has been “gherghisiaa

The first intersection of the armies moving from the north to the ghea is the “island” area in the south of Deir ez-Zor province. The opposite point of the “island” is the “Abu Kamal” region in Syria and the “Al-Qaim” region in the Anbar province of Iraq. Mashreq News

منطقه «البصیره» حدودا ۱۰۴ کیلومتر با دیرالزور فاصله دارد و در نزدیکی مرزهای مشترک عراق و سوریه است و به احتمال بسیار همان منطقه مورد نظر در روایات اهل بیت علیهم السلام است.

ور» و محل تلاقی با  رودفرات رخ خواهد داد. سرچشمه رود خابور در ترکیه است و پس از جاری شدن در خاک این کشور وارد سوریه شده و نقطه ای به رود فرات می ریزد که امروزه «bosayre» نام دارد که روستای کوچکی است، اما در طول تاریخ نام این منطقه «gherghisiaa» بوده است.

اولین نقطه تلاقی ارتش هایی که از شمال به طرف gherghisiaa حرکت می کنند، منطقه «جزیره» در جنوب استان دیرالزور است. نقطه مقابل «جزیره»، منطقه «ابوکمال» در سوریه و منطقه «القائم» در استان الانبار عراق است.

Certain signs of appearance

In many sayings and narrations, certain signs of appearance are said to be five signs. There are also other signs that will be mentioned in the next chapter:

1. Departure of Yamani

Yamani is one of the Shi’ite followers of Amir al-Muʾminin Ali (AS) and he will depart before the appearance in order to fight Sufyani from Yemen. Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (AS) says: Sufyani, Yamani, and Khurasani will depart in the same year, month, and day. Their departure is followed by each other like necklace beads. Wherever you look, there will be fear, panic, and stress. Woe unto him who fight them. Among them, there is no purer flag than the Yamani’s flag which is the flag of guidance and invites you to your owner. When Yamani departs, he will forbid the trade of weapons. When he departs, hurry to him because his flag is the flag of guidance and no Muslim should stand against him. Whoever does this will go to hell because Yamani invites people to Truth and the right path. Imam Sadiq (AS) said: One of the children of Zayd, my uncle will depart in Yemen. According to a saying: Where will be Sufyani, and that is when the breaker of his eyes has not yet departed from Yemen; Based on this narration, Yamani could be before Sufyani and he is the first certain sign.
